We review the popular decaf K-cups with in depth notes on the decaf coffee as well as the brands, the packaging, and the claims behind the different decaf k-cups.
Our approach is simple – buy and try every decaf coffee offered in a k-cup to fit the Keurig brewing system. Evaluate for taste, aroma, appearance, and basically whether or not we’d like to drink this as our daily coffee.
We do have a bias towards stronger coffee, but we believe that bias is well founded. Coffee should not be weak and watery, or else it really would not matter at all which decaf coffee we put into our Keurig and brew. Do they all need to be as dark roast as Tomothy’s Rainforest Espresso? Certainly not, but they should be flavorful and memorable as unique coffees, even as decaffeinated coffees.
